Sunday School ran, like always, 8:30 to 10:30 am. The kids and the leaders went to play a game in the gym with all of the other classes. We played games until about 10:15 then went back to the room and waited for class to end. Then i headed onto Toddler church at 10:30. There were'nt many kids this time, only about 4 so we just played for the first half then finger painted for a little while. we cleaned up, sang and the kids danced then read them a story and by the time we were done and the parents interrupted to get their children.

Sunday School: 8:30 am to 10:30 am

Toddler Church: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

 

Today i helped the kids during sunday school with the activities (drawing, singing and coloring) we went through our lesson and before i knew it, it was time for Sunday School. So i went with Jacob to toddler church. Again, we let the kids play with the toys until about 11:15. then we cleaned up, moved rooms and started the lesson. we did crafts along with songs and story about Noah's Ark. We cleaned everything up and waited for the parents to arrive.

Today I helped out with Sunday school from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. The kids were 3rd grade. We colored a picture and decorated it with different types of food to give a certain effect. We then had snack and sang songs. Today was special because the church was doing a 9/11 service so all the classes combined and prayed and did an activity for the occasion. That took up the entire morning. Then I helped young children interact with each other during toddler church. There was 8 kids in our class. Jacob and I let them play for about 45 minutes with each other then we cleaned up and went into another room. We then had a snack and colored a picture related to the topic we were discussing that day. We told them the story of the bread and wine and the Last Supper.
